The goals of this community are to connect people who are employed in or interested in the Canadian construction industry. We want to connect various stakeholders at all levels to allow them to grow their networks, learn about new products and technologies, and have access to new opportunities.

In order to meet the goals of this community, it’s important for members to feel like they are in a safe place that is populated by people with shared interests. As such, we request that you read and adhere to the guidelines that follow.

  2. Be tolerant towards other’s viewpoints; respectfully disagree when opinions do not align
  3. Respect the privacy and personal information of other alumni
  4. Communicate with courtesy and respect
  5. Do not post political, religious or other personal opinions here. This network is ONLY for business related matters. All personal posts can be kept on other social media.


  1. Make personal attacks on other community members
  2. Use defamatory remarks or make false statements against others
  3. Post prejudiced comments or profanity
  4. Bully or make inflammatory remarks to other community members


These tools are intended to allow users to grow their business network, to help facilitate networking and to promote common interests. Some examples might include:

  1. Answering a question that might have been asked in a group
  2. Connecting with existing customers, colleagues and contractors
  3. Connecting with new customers, colleagues and contractors
  4. To invite a user to an event or product launch

All users have the option to change their privacy settings to allow or disallow contact from people they don't know, and all users have the option to block users they feel may be sending unwanted communications.

Prohibited activities include solicitations for business or personal services, fundraising, cold-calling of any kind, mass-mailings, or broadcast e-mails.


We will take action when we see someone violating these guidelines. Sometimes that just means giving someone a warning; other times it means revoking certain privileges or accounts entirely.
